أبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ
The first adult free man to convert to Islam; the Prophet ﷺ said no one he ever invited to Islam hesitated except Abu Bakr.
Abu Bakr al-Siddiq RA, son of Abu Quhafa, was a merchant and genealogist of the Quraysh, the closest companion of the Prophet ﷺ, and the first caliph of Islam. He was the first free adult man to accept Islam, believing without hesitation, and he spent most of his wealth on the faith, including freeing enslaved Muslims such as Bilal RA. Many early Companions came to Islam through him.
He was the Prophet ﷺ's companion in the Cave of Thawr during the Hijrah, his father-in-law through Aisha RA, and his closest counsellor throughout the Madinan years. The Prophet ﷺ appointed him to lead the prayer in his final illness, and after his death Abu Bakr steadied the Muslims and led them as caliph for about two years before Umar RA succeeded him.

Abu Bakr RA affirmed the Prophet ﷺ's account of al-Isra without hesitation.
إِلَّا تَنصُرُوهُ فَقَدْ نَصَرَهُ اللَّهُ إِذْ أَخْرَجَهُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا ثَانِيَ اثْنَيْنِ إِذْ هُمَا فِي الْغَارِ إِذْ يَقُولُ لِصَاحِبِهِ لَا تَحْزَنْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ مَعَنَا ۖ فَأَنزَلَ اللَّهُ سَكِينَتَهُ عَلَيْهِ وَأَيَّدَهُ بِجُنُودٍ لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا وَجَعَلَ كَلِمَةَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا السُّفْلَىٰ ۗ وَكَلِمَةُ اللَّهِ هِيَ الْعُلْيَا ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
“[It does not matter] if you [Believers] do not support him (the Prophet ﷺ), for Allah did in fact support him when the disbelievers drove him out [of Makkah], and he was only one of two. While they both were in the cave, he reassured his companion, "Do not worry; Allah is certainly with us." So Allah sent down His serenity upon the Prophet, supported him with forces you did not see, and made the word of the disbelievers lowest, while the Word of Allah supreme. And Allah is Almighty, All-Wise.”
The only verse in the Qur'an that directly affirms a named sahabi's companionship of the Prophet ﷺ.
“Do not let the people of virtue and affluence among you swear to suspend donations to their relatives, the needy, and the emigrants in the Cause of Allah. Let them pardon and forgive. Do you not love to be forgiven by Allah? And Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.”
Revealed instructing Abu Bakr RA not to withhold his charity from Mistah RA.
“Those who responded to Allah and His Messenger after they were wounded, those of them who did good and were mindful [of Allah] will have a great reward.”
This is the asbab al-nuzul: Q3:172 praises those who responded to the call to march out (Hamra al-Asad) despite their Uhud wounds -- exactly what Abu Bakr's words in the post credit him for.
