Ummi Ruman RA

Ummi Ruman RA was the wife of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq RA and the mother of Aisha RA. During the slander against Aisha in 5 AH, she tried to comfort her daughter that people always talk about a woman whose husband loves her, but when asked to answer the Prophet ﷺ on Aisha's behalf could find nothing to say. When Surah al-Nur declared Aisha's innocence, she told her to stand and thank the Prophet ﷺ, and Aisha replied that she would thank Allah.
