Ummi Mistah bint Abi Ruhm RA was a cousin of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq RA and mother of Mistah ibn Uthathah RA, a veteran of Badr who repeated the slander against Aisha RA in 5 AH. Walking out at night with the recovering Aisha, she tripped and cursed her own son, and when Aisha defended him, she told her of the slander. This was how Aisha RA first learned of it.
