Privacy Policy

Every page has a “Report inaccuracy” button. If you use it, we ask for your name, your email address, and a description of the issue. This is the only place on SeerahBook where personal information is collected.

We use these details for one purpose: reviewing the report, and — if needed — contacting you about it. They are stored securely in our database (hosted by Supabase), are not readable by other visitors or through our public API, and are never used for marketing, never shared with third parties, and never sold.

To have a report and its associated details deleted, email us at [email protected] and we will remove it.

The website and the mobile app use PostHog to understand which pages and screens are visited, so we can see what people find useful. These events are anonymous — since there are no accounts, they are not tied to a profile, a name, or an email address, and they are never used to track you across other apps or websites.

The app talks directly to the same database as the website to load its content, submits inaccuracy reports the same way, and records the same anonymous usage events described above. It requests no device permissions — no location, no camera, no contacts.

The Map screen displays map tiles from Apple Maps (on iOS) or Google Maps (on Android). Loading those tiles is a standard network request to Apple or Google, handled under Apple’s and Google’s privacy policies. SeerahBook itself never accesses or stores your location.
