عبد الرحمن بن أبي بكر
Accepted Islam considerably later than the rest of Abu Bakr's household: classical sources place his conversion around the time of the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah (6 AH), well after his father, sisters (Asma and Aisha), and brother Abdullah had already embraced Islam. By the later Madinan years he was a trusted companion within the Prophet's ﷺ own household, accompanying Aisha on the Farewell Hajj and present at the Prophet's ﷺ deathbed.
Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakr RA was a son of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq RA and brother of Aisha RA, who accepted Islam much later than the rest of his household, around the time of Hudaybiyyah in 6 AH. On the Farewell Hajj in 10 AH the Prophet ﷺ had him take Aisha to al-Tan'im so she could perform an Umrah. In 11 AH he came in with a miswak as the Prophet ﷺ lay dying in Aisha's arms, and Aisha softened it for the Prophet ﷺ, who used it before meeting Allah.
