O my uncle! O my uncle! Take me, don't leave me in Makkah!
Umara bint Hamzah ran after the Muslims as they left Makkah after Umrah al-Qada, calling out to the Prophet ﷺ, who was her uncle by his marriage to her aunt Maymunah.
We will take care of her.
Ali took Umara by the hand and brought her to Fatima.
The Prophet ﷺ made me brothers with Hamzah, so I am the brother of Hamzah: thus this is my niece, and I will take care of her.
I have the same rank as Ali, but more than that, my wife is her khala, so I have more right to her.
You, Ali, are from me and I am from you. You, Zayd, are our brother and our protector. And you, Ja'far, resemble me the most in physical appearance and in character. Ja'far, she is yours, because the khala is like the mother.
