Extracting the Location of Huyayy's Gold From Sa'ya

Under the Khaybar treaty, the Jews of Khaybar were required to hand over their gold, silver, weapons, and armor to the Muslims in exchange for remaining on the land. The Prophet ﷺ questioned Sa'ya, uncle (or, by another report, brother) of Huyayy ibn Akhtab, about the gold Huyayy had carried out of Madinah with him. Sa'ya insisted it was gone, but the Prophet ﷺ did not accept this given how recently Huyayy had left and how much money was involved. When Sa'ya continued to insist he knew nothing, the Prophet ﷺ handed him over to Zubayr ibn al-Awwam RA to be questioned further, after which Sa'ya revealed a valley where the gold might be hidden, and it was found there.
