The Prophet ﷺ Recovers a Man's Debt from Abu Jahal

Abu Jahal had purchased something from a man but refused to pay him, stalling repeatedly. As a cruel joke, Abu Jahal eventually told the man to go collect the money from Muhammad ﷺ instead, assuming he would never actually go. Not realizing it was a joke, the man went to the Prophet ﷺ and explained that Abu Jahal had told him to collect the debt from him. The Prophet ﷺ walked with him to Abu Jahal's door and demanded the money be returned at once. Abu Jahal, terrified, paid the man without even counting it. Abu Jahal later said he had seen, behind the Prophet ﷺ, a herd of angry camels ready to pounce on him, and this was what frightened him into paying.
