Usama ibn Zayd RA was born in the house of Muhammad ﷺ to Zayd ibn Harithah RA and Ummi Ayman RA, and was raised there from infancy.
Known as Hibb Rasulillah, the Beloved of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Usama RA held a special status in the household: when the sahaba wanted something from Muhammad ﷺ, they would ask Usama RA to make the request, knowing Muhammad ﷺ loved him too much to refuse him.
