Ya Rasulullah, we have not had rain for months and our crops are withering, our animals are dying, and our children are starving. Make du'a to Allah that He sends rain.
Interrupted the Prophet ﷺ's Friday khutbah during a months-long drought.

Wallahi, we had not seen the whiff of a cloud for months, but as the Prophet ﷺ raised his hands, we saw a dense, thick cloud come from the back of the mountain of Madinah, it came racing forward, and before the Prophet's ﷺ hands had reached his side, we heard the pitter-patter of rain on the roof, and when we went back home, we had to rush back so not to get drenched. And wallahi, we did not see the sun for an entire week.
