    These ten were the first to go to Abyssinia according to my information.

    Ibn Ishaq, Sirat Rasul Allah (Guillaume), "The first migration to Abyssinia": Uthman and Ruqayyah, Abu Hudhayfa and Sahla, al-Zubayr, Mus'ab, Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, Abu Salama and Umm Salama, Uthman ibn Maz'un, Amir ibn Rabi'a and Layla, Abu Sabra, Suhayl ibn Bayda'.

    Note: Uthman ibn Affan decided to remain in Makkah and he Migrated to Madinah later on. And Mus'ab ibn Umayr, the first person to Emigrate to Madinah within 3 years, the one whose own parents tortured him so much, also did not return to Abyssinia, even though he went the first time.

  • Torture to the Prophet ﷺ & AbyssiniaEpisode 15

    When the Prophet ﷺ gave this command, 15 people migrated in total, 11 men and 4 women. Among them were Uthman ibn Affan and his wife Ruqayyah the daughter of the Prophet ﷺ. And he was followed by Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, Uthman ibn Maz'un, Zubayr ibn al-Awwam, Mus'ab ibn Umayr, Abu Salama and his wife Ummi Salama, and a number of other sahaba.
