Sahih al-Bukhari
“Before embracing Islam Al-Mughira was in the company of some people. He killed them and took their property and came (to Medina) to embrace Islam. The Prophet (ﷺ) said (to him), "As regards your Islam, I accept it, but as for the property I do not take anything of it. (As it was taken through treason)."”
