Aisha RA, though she never met Khadija RA, said she was never more jealous of any woman than of her, knowing how much the Prophet ﷺ loved her. Whenever the Prophet ﷺ received gifts, money, or meat, he would send part of it to Khadija RA's friends. On one occasion, Aisha RA's frustration led her to remark to the Prophet ﷺ about mentioning an old woman when Allah had given him a young one instead; his firm reply, affirming Khadija RA's unmatched place in his heart, is recorded on this page. Aisha RA said she never mentioned Khadija RA again.

No, by Allah. Allah has not given me anyone better than her. She was the first to believe in me when everyone rejected me. And she gave me of her money when everyone had abandoned me. And she supported me when the community gave me the cold shoulder. And Allah blessed me with children only through her.
When Khadija's sister came to visit and asked permission to enter, I saw the color drain from his face: her footsteps and her voice reminded him so much of Khadija that even after so many years, he was almost moved to tears.
