Sa'd ibn al-Rabi' Offers to Share His Wealth with Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf

When Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf emigrated from Makkah, he had to give up all of his belongings to the Quraysh and arrived in Madinah with only the clothes on his back. His newly paired Ansari brother, Sa'd ibn al-Rabi', offered to divide his own gardens, wives, and house between them. Abd al-Rahman thanked him but asked only to be shown the marketplace, and built his fortune again there through trade.
