Sa'd ibn al-Rabi' RA

Sa'd ibn al-Rabi' RA was a leader of the Ansar whom the Prophet ﷺ paired in brotherhood with Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf RA. He offered his penniless brother half of everything, a garden, a floor of his house, and even to divorce one of his wives for him, and Abd al-Rahman asked only to be shown the market; their story became the best-known example of that brotherhood. Before Uhud the Prophet ﷺ consulted him first among the Ansar.
