After my iddah was over, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me a marriage proposal through the Najashi, who took charge of the arrangement and gifted me the mahr on his behalf.

After her iddah following the death of her husband Ubaydillah ibn Jahsh, the Prophet ﷺ sent Ramla (Umm Habiba) bint Abi Sufyan a marriage proposal through the Najashi. The Najashi took charge of the arrangement and gifted her the mahr on the Prophet ﷺ's behalf, even though the Prophet ﷺ had not asked him to. She later migrated to Madinah accompanied by a delegation sent by the Najashi.
Umm Habiba became one of the Mothers of the Believers.
