This is one interpretation of the occasion for Qur'an [66:1] found in Sahih al-Bukhari; the exact year is not given in this account. Episode 97 (on the Maria incident) references this as an alternative, weaker opinion for the same revelation, and names the wife involved as Sawda rather than Zaynab bint Jahsh.
The Prophet ﷺ overstayed at Zaynab bint Jahsh RA's house, where he had eaten a type of honey. Aisha RA and Hafsa RA RA agreed between themselves to tell him, when he next entered upon either of them, that they smelled something bad on him, meaning the honey. When he did, the Prophet ﷺ said he would not eat at Zaynab's house again.
Allah revealed Qur'an [66:1], "O Prophet! Why do you prohibit [yourself] from what Allah has made lawful to you, seeking to please your wives?": one interpretation, found in Sahih al-Bukhari, of the occasion of this verse.
