Conversion of Adi ibn Hatim

Why don't you go back to Muhammad ﷺ? There are two possibilities: either he is a prophet, or he is a king. If he is a prophet, you might as well convert; if he is a king, you might as well go to him and win some favor from him.

Freed by the Prophet ﷺ and reunited with her brother Adi ibn Hatim RA, Hatim al-Ta'i's daughter said this to him after rebuking him for fleeing north instead of facing the Muslims himself.

يا عدي، أسلم تسلم

Ya Adi, aslim tuslim: O Adi, accept Islam, you shall be safe.

Wallahi, I have seen two of these three things: I have seen the security [and stability of the Muslims], and I was of those who opened the treasures of Kisra ibn Hormuz. As for the third, I know it is going to happen.

A later recollection by Adi ibn Hatim RA of the Prophet ﷺ's prophecy being fulfilled; the third sign was fulfilled still later, in the time of Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz.
