The Daughter of Hatim al-Ta'i

This woman was a daughter of Hatim al-Ta'i, the legendary generous man of Tayy, and the sister of Adi ibn Hatim RA. Taken captive when Ali RA's expedition struck Tayy after the Conquest of Makkah, while her brother fled north, she appealed to the Prophet ﷺ as Hatim's daughter and was freed. She found Adi, rebuked him for abandoning his people, and urged him to go to the Prophet ﷺ, whether prophet or king, and he went to Madinah and accepted Islam.
