لُبَابَة الكُبْرى
It is said that she was the second lady, after Khadija RA, to embrace Islam.
Umm al-Fadl Lubabah bint al-Harith RA was the wife of al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib RA, said to be the second woman after Khadijah RA to accept Islam, and a sister of Maymunah RA, wife of the Prophet ﷺ. Her sons included al-Fadl, Abdullah ibn Abbas RA and Qutham. When al-Abbas was captured at Badr, the Prophet ﷺ's knowledge of the money the couple had secretly buried convinced him of his prophethood. In Makkah she stood up to Abu Lahab when he beat a Muslim slave over the news of Badr, shaming him into fleeing. In 7 AH she helped arrange her widowed sister Maymunah's marriage to the Prophet ﷺ.
