al-Fadl ibn Abbas RA

Al-Fadl ibn Abbas RA was the eldest son of al-Abbas RA and Umm al-Fadl RA, after whom his father was known as Abu al-Fadl, and the brother of Abdullah ibn Abbas RA. When the Prophet ﷺ passed away in 11 AH, al-Fadl was among the close family who washed his body, after they heard an unseen voice telling them to wash him with his clothes on.
