Sa'd ibn Mu'adh RA

Sa'd ibn Mu'adh RA was chief of the Aws of Yathrib, of Banu Abd al-Ashhal, who accepted Islam through Mus'ab ibn Umayr RA and brought his whole clan into Islam with him. He was a pillar of the Ansar, pledging at Badr that they would follow the Prophet ﷺ anywhere. Wounded by an arrow at Khandaq in 5 AH, he pronounced the judgment on Banu Qurayza, his tribe's former allies, and died of the wound soon after. The Prophet ﷺ said the Throne of Allah shook at his death and seventy thousand angels attended his funeral.
