Hind RA

Hind bint Utbah RA was the wife of Abu Sufyan ibn Harb RA, the daughter of Utbah ibn Rabi'ah, and the foremost lady of the Quraysh. For years one of the fiercest enemies of the Muslims, she marched with the Quraysh women to Uhud, and after Wahshi killed Hamzah RA she mutilated his body in revenge for her father. At the Conquest of Makkah in 8 AH she came veiled to give the women's pledge, boldly answering back as its terms were read, and accepted Islam.
