Allah has shown me the land you shall emigrate to. It is a land of date palms between two volcanic plains.
After the Second Covenant of Aqaba, the Prophet ﷺ announced to the Muslims that Allah had shown him, in a dream, the land they would emigrate to: a land of date palms between two volcanic plains. He was at first uncertain which city was meant, and speculated it might be Khaybar, or a land in Yemen, since both had large numbers of date palms, but neither has volcanic mountains around it as Yathrib does. He was then told clearly that it was Yathrib, and gave the Muslims permission to emigrate. They began emigrating in secret, by ones and twos, since the Quraysh would not have allowed it openly.
This was the beginning of the formal emigration of the Muslims to Madinah, following directly from the Second Covenant of Aqaba.

I saw in a dream that I would emigrate from Makkah to a land with many date palms. I thought it might be al-Yamamah or Hajar, but it turned out to be Madinah, Yathrib.
