شيبة بن ربيعة
Shaybah ibn Rabi'ah was a nobleman of the Banu Abd Shams of the Quraysh, younger brother of Utbah ibn Rabi'ah, and an enemy of Islam named among those the Prophet ﷺ invoked Allah against after the camel entrails were thrown on him. He and Utbah pitied the Prophet ﷺ after Ta'if and sent their servant Addas with grapes. At Badr in 2 AH, by some reports after persuading Utbah to fight, he went out with him and al-Walid ibn Utbah in the opening single combat and was killed, by Hamzah RA in Ibn Ishaq's account and by Ali RA in Ali's own report in Abu Dawud. His body was thrown into the well of Badr.
