عدّاس
Addas was a Christian slave from Nineveh in Iraq belonging to Utbah and Shaybah ibn Rabi'ah, who kept a garden near Ta'if. When the Prophet ﷺ sat by their wall after being stoned out of Ta'if in the tenth year of prophethood, his masters sent Addas with grapes. Hearing the Prophet ﷺ say "Bismillah" and speak of Yunus AS as his brother prophet from Nineveh, Addas kissed his hands and feet and believed in him. Years later he refused his masters' order to march against the Prophet ﷺ at Badr, where both were killed.
