سَلْمَى بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ
Salma bint Umays RA was a daughter of Hind bint Awf, sister of Asma bint Umays RA and maternal sister of Maymunah RA. She married Hamzah ibn Abd al-Muttalib RA and bore him a daughter, Umara; widowed when Hamzah was martyred at Uhud, she later married Shaddad ibn al-Had. After Umrah al-Qada, Umara was given into the care of her aunt Asma.
