One night in Madinah, people heard a loud commotion outside and, unsure what it was, came out cautiously to see. They found that the Prophet ﷺ had already gone alone toward the sound. He had taken the horse of Abu Talha RA, ridden it back bareback with his sword slung around his neck, and was returning to reassure the people of Madinah.
