Abu Talha RA

Abu Talha RA was a Companion of the Ansar, the husband of Umm Sulaym RA and stepfather of Anas ibn Malik RA. It was on his horse that the Prophet ﷺ rode out bareback alone one night to check an alarm and returned to reassure the city. On the return from Khaybar, when the Prophet ﷺ and Safiyyah RA were thrown from their camel, he is said to have been the only one to call out to ask whether the Prophet ﷺ was hurt.
