Said to his sons after young Muhammad ﷺ climbed onto his reserved platform beside the Ka'bah.
Abdul Muttalib kept a raised platform beside the Ka'bah, reserved for himself alone; each afternoon, when the Ka'bah's shadow reached it, he would sit there to discuss the affairs of the Quraysh, and no one else, not even his own sons, was permitted to sit with him. One day the young Prophet ﷺ ran up and climbed onto the platform beside his grandfather. His uncles, including al-Zubayr, pulled him back down, but Abdul Muttalib stopped them.
