Will you not get rid of Dhi al-Khalasa for me?

As part of the same campaign to rid Arabia of idolatry, the Prophet ﷺ sent Jarir ibn Abdillah al-Bajali RA to destroy another idol worshipped in Yemen, Dhi al-Khalasa, asking him, "Will you not get rid of Dhi al-Khalasa for me?" The Prophet ﷺ was not at peace knowing idols were still being worshipped in the Peninsula. This period is connected to the early verses of Surah al-Tawba, revealed a few months later, which established that no mushrikin should remain in the Arabian Peninsula.
Jarir ibn Abdillah al-Bajali RA led the expedition and destroyed Dhi al-Khalasa.
