جرير بن عبد الله البجلي
Jarir ibn Abdillah al-Bajali RA was a Companion whom the Prophet ﷺ sent after the Conquest of Makkah in 8 AH to destroy Dhi al-Khalasa, an idol worshipped in Yemen. He also narrated that the Companions counted gathering at a bereaved family's house and having them provide food as part of the wailing the Prophet ﷺ forbade.
