زُهَيْر بن أبي أمَيَّة
Zuhayr ibn Abi Umayya was a man of the Quraysh and a grandson of Abd al-Muttalib through his mother Atikah. Recruited by Hisham ibn Amr to end the boycott of Banu Hashim, he was the first to stand at the Ka'bah and ask how long they would starve their own kin, and when Abu Jahl protested, the others rose one after another until the boycott collapsed.
