Yasir RA

Yasir RA was among the earliest converts to Islam in Makkah, a slave who accepted Islam with his wife Sumayyah RA and their son Ammar RA. The family was tortured together, and the Prophet ﷺ, passing by, told them, "Be patient, O family of Yasir! Indeed, the place appointed to you is Jannah." Yasir was the first of them to die, and with Sumayyah he became one of the first martyrs of Islam.
