Uqba ibn Abi Mu'ayt

Uqbah ibn Abi Mu'ayt was a wealthy nobleman of the Quraysh and one of the most vicious enemies of the Prophet ﷺ in Makkah, counted with al-Nadr ibn al-Harith among the "devils of the Quraysh". He once tried to strangle the Prophet ﷺ with his garment as he prayed at the Ka'bah and threw camel entrails on his back, and he spat in his face. Captured at Badr in 2 AH, he was one of the few prisoners executed. His daughter Umm Kulthum RA later accepted Islam and emigrated to Madinah.
