عمير بن وهب
Came to Madinah after Badr intending to assassinate the Prophet ﷺ at Safwan ibn Umayyah's urging, but accepted Islam on the spot after the Prophet ﷺ revealed the secret plot to him. Later made Hijrah to Madinah and, at the Conquest of Makkah, secured Safwan ibn Umayyah's protection and eventual conversion.
Umayr ibn Wahb al-Jumahi RA was the most experienced scout of the Quraysh and the cousin and close friend of Safwan ibn Umayyah. At Badr he scouted the Muslim army and warned the Quraysh that fighting them would cost them dearly. Afterwards, with his son a prisoner in Madinah, he secretly agreed with Safwan to go and kill the Prophet ﷺ, but when the Prophet ﷺ told him exactly what they had whispered in private, he accepted Islam on the spot. He later helped bring Safwan to Islam as well.
