This unnamed son of Umayr ibn Wahab al-Jumahi was captured fighting for the Quraysh at Badr in 2 AH. His father went to Madinah on the pretext of ransoming him, secretly intending to kill the Prophet ﷺ, but accepted Islam when the Prophet ﷺ revealed his private plot with Safwan ibn Umayyah. The Prophet ﷺ then had the son freed without ransom.
