This unnamed son of Umayyah ibn Khalaf, and brother of Safwan ibn Umayyah, was taken prisoner with his father by Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf RA at Badr in 2 AH. Before they reached the Muslim camp, Bilal RA recognized his former torturer and rallied the Ansar, who killed both father and son.
