This unnamed woman was the older sister of Khadija RA. Years before the Prophet ﷺ's mission, the young Muhammad ﷺ and another young man grazed her flock outside Makkah. When they finished, he was too shy to ask for his wages, so his companion went to collect them for both. Khadija happened to be at her sister's house and asked where Muhammad ﷺ was, and was told he had been too shy to come. Her sister remarked, "I have not seen any man who is more shy, honorable, noble, and chaste in his interactions, than Muhammad ﷺ." It is narrated that this was the first time Khadija heard of him, and her sister's words left a mark on her heart.
