Ummi Sulaym RA

Umm Sulaym RA was a well-known woman Companion of the Ansar, mother of Anas ibn Malik RA and wife of Abu Talhah RA. At Uhud she carried water to the fighters and wounded, and after Khaybar she prepared Safiyyah RA for her wedding to the Prophet ﷺ. At Hunayn in 8 AH, when many fled the ambush, she stayed close to the Prophet ﷺ with a dagger drawn to defend him.
