Khabbab ibn al-Aratt Shows Umar His Scars

During the caliphate of Umar ibn al-Khattab, Khabbab ibn al-Aratt visited him, and Umar asked about the mistreatment he had suffered under his former master, Ummi Anmar. Rather than answer in words, Khabbab lifted his shirt to reveal his scarred back. Umar, moved by what he saw, seated Khabbab with him in his majlis and gave him great honor.
