Al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib RA, the first grandson of the Prophet ﷺ, was born to Ali RA and Fatima RA. When he was born, the Prophet ﷺ asked Ali RA to see his son and what he had named him; Ali RA said "Harb" (War), and the Prophet ﷺ renamed him Hasan (Beauty). The Prophet ﷺ gave the adhan in Hasan's right ear, instructed Fatima RA to shave his hair and give its weight in silver in charity, and performed the aqiqah himself, sacrificing two sheep and making the invitation, out of his happiness and pride.
