Hawa AS was the wife of Adam AS. With Adam she lived in Jannah until Iblis persuaded them to eat from the forbidden tree, and their garments fell away. Surah al-A'raf recalls this just before condemning the pagan Arab practice of circling the Ka'bah unclothed, teaching that clothing is a gift sent down by Allah [7:26-28].
“O children of Adam! Do not let Satan deceive you as he tempted your parents out of Paradise and caused their cover to be removed in order to expose their nakedness. Surely, he and his soldiers watch you from where you cannot see them. We have made the devils allies of those who disbelieve.”
This ayah recalls Satan's deception of Adam (AS) and Hawa, causing their nakedness to be exposed in the Garden.
