Hammanah bint Jahsh RA

Hammanah bint Jahsh RA was the sister of Zaynab bint Jahsh RA and the wife of Mus'ab ibn Umayr RA. After Uhud in 3 AH the Prophet ﷺ himself broke the news of her brother's and husband's martyrdom to her, and remarked on her grief for Mus'ab that a husband holds a special place for his wife. During the slander against Aisha RA she was one of only three non-hypocrites who repeated the gossip, out of loyalty to her sister's rivalry, and she received the punishment for qadhf. Nothing but good is said of her.
