Abdullah ibn Abdullah ibn Ubayy ibn Salul RA

Abdullah ibn Abdullah ibn Ubayy RA was the son of Abdullah ibn Ubayy, leader of the hypocrites, and himself a sincere, devoted believer. When his father's insult on the return from al-Muraysi' in 5 AH was exposed by Surah al-Munafiqun, he offered to carry out any sentence on his father himself, and barred his father from entering Madinah until the Prophet ﷺ gave permission. When his father died in 9 AH he asked the Prophet ﷺ for his cloak to shroud him. He was martyred in the Wars of Apostasy in 12 AH.
