A site in the desert of northern Arabia, roughly 650 km northwest of Madinah, where the Muslim army camped around its spring during the Battle of Tabuk in Rajab, 9 AH.
The Prophet ﷺ told Mu'adh ibn Jabal RA that this land would one day become a land of greenery and gardens. Today Tabuk is the largest city in Northern Arabia, with a population of more than 500,000; the oasis is said to still be green, and a mosque called Masjid Rasulullah stands there, though it was not built by the Prophet ﷺ himself.
