A tribe from which a delegation of about nine people came to Madinah in the Year of Delegations (9 AH) asking the Prophet ﷺ to make du'a for them.
Around nine people of Banu Kulf came to the Prophet ﷺ, telling him, "We have come to you so that you may pray for us for all good." The Prophet ﷺ made du'a for them, hosted and fed them, and they stayed in Madinah for a few days, praying Jumu'ah with him. Al-Hakam ibn Hazn RA, one of the group who saw the Prophet ﷺ only this once, recalled seeing him deliver the khutbah holding up a stick or bow, in which he said: "O people, do what you can, and know that you will never be able to do everything you have been commanded to do, so cover up, and come as close as you can to what you are supposed to do."
