ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ شَآقُّوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ ۖ وَمَن يُشَآقِّ ٱللَّهَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ
“This is because they defied Allah and His Messenger. And whoever defies Allah, then Allah is truly severe in Punishment.”
This ayah is part of Surah al-Hashr, which -- as this event's own significance note states -- was revealed about the expulsion of Banu Nadir (Ibn Abbas RA preferred to call it Surat Banu Nadir).
