The verse instructing that children be called by their fathers' names, which led Muhammad ﷺ to rename Zayd back to Zayd ibn Harithah.
“O believers! Remember Allah's favor upon you when [enemy] forces came to [besiege] you [in Madinah], so We sent against them a [bitter] wind and forces you could not see. And Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.”
This ayah recalls the wind and unseen forces Allah sent against the confederate armies at the Trench -- the retreat the post reports being announced.
“[Remember] when they came at you from above you (the ahzab) and from below you (the Banu Qurayza), when your eyes grew wild [in horror] and your hearts jumped into your throats, and you entertained [conflicting] thoughts about Allah.”
Describes the Ahzab attacking from above and the Banu Qurayza's betrayal from below/within.

“Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example.”
This ayah sits within the same continuous Al-Ahzab passage narrating the Trench (33:9-27) -- the Qur'an's own transition, praising the Prophet ﷺ's conduct during the siege, right before the verses on the believers' steadfastness versus the hypocrites' fear.
“Among the believers are men who have proven true to what they pledged to Allah”
Revealed regarding Anas ibn al-Nadr RA and companions like him who were martyred at Uhud.
“And Allah spared the believers from fighting.”
The post's dua directly echoes this ayah's wording -- "He destroyed the ahzab (confederates) all by Himself" mirrors "Allah repelled those who disbelieved... sufficient was Allah for the believers in battle."

Revealed giving the Prophet ﷺ's wives the choice between worldly compensation and remaining with him for the sake of Allah and the Hereafter.
“But if you desire Allah and His Messenger and the [everlasting] Home of the Hereafter, then surely, Allah has prepared a great reward for those of you who do good."”

“It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error.”
Revealed instructing believers to accept Allah and His Messenger's decision once made, per one interpretation, regarding Zaynab and her brother's initial reluctance over Zayd.
“And [remember, O Muhammad], when you said to the one on whom Allah bestowed favor and you bestowed favor, "Keep your wife and fear Allah," while you concealed within yourself that which Allah is to disclose. And you feared the people, while Allah has more right that you fear Him. So when Zayd had no longer any need for her, We married her to you in order that there not be upon the believers any discomfort concerning the wives of their adopted sons when they no longer have need of them. And ever is the command of Allah accomplished.”
Directly decrees the marriage: "We married her to you."
“There is no blame on the Prophet for doing what Allah has ordained for him. That has been the way of Allah with those [prophets] who had gone before.”
This ayah is part of Surah al-Ahzab's defense of this exact marriage (33:36-40) -- against criticism that the Prophet ﷺ married his adopted son's former wife -- affirming it was Allah's ordainment, as with prophets before him.

“He [Allah] is the One Who showers His blessings upon you [O Prophet].”
Part of the same revealed passage as Surah al-Ahzab 33:37 (the Qur'anic marriage of the Prophet ﷺ to Zaynab bint Jahsh RA); the lecture on this event quotes 33:43 directly as part of the "page and a half" of praise for the Prophet ﷺ that follows 33:37 in the same sequence.
“And when you [believers] ask his wives (i.e., the Prophet's ﷺ wives) for something, ask them from behind a barrier (hijab)”
This is one of the two Qur'anic hijab verses this event refers to -- on speaking to the Prophet's ﷺ wives from behind a barrier.
“Indeed, Allah showers His blessings upon the Prophet, and His angels pray for him. O believers! Invoke Allah's blessings upon him, and salute him with worthy greetings of peace.”
The salawat ayah (33:56) is quoted in the lecture on this event as continuing the same praise-of-the-Prophet ﷺ passage that opens with 33:37 (the marriage to Zaynab bint Jahsh RA) and includes 33:40 and 33:43.
