وَلَوْلَا إِذْ سَمِعْتُمُوهُ قُلْتُم مَّا يَكُونُ لَنَا أَن نَّتَكَلَّمَ بِهَٰذَا سُبْحَانَكَ هَٰذَا بُهْتَانٌ عَظِيمٌ

“If only you had said upon hearing it (the slander), "How can we speak about such a thing! Glory be to You [O Lord]! This is a heinous slander!"”
